Manhattan LSAT Teachers - Stephanie Moyerman

Manhattan LSAT Teacher - Stephanie Moyerman

Stephanie began teaching in college as a physics tutor, math tutor, lab TA, and Academic Excellence Facilitator. By the end of college she had tutored over 15 separate courses, and fellow students were knocking on her door at all hours of the day for help. It was at this time that she decided to pursue a teaching career. Since then, Stephanie has taught a variety of students ranging in age from elementary school to college.

Outside of the classroom Stephanie's favorite activity is judo. She's been a junior and collegiate national champion and is currently ranked as the #11 competitor in the United States. With over twenty years of judo experience, Stephanie has been to more than 30 countries for camps and competitions. As a supplement to her classroom teaching, Stephanie also teaches children's judo classes and runs judo clinics nationwide.

Stephanie is a graduate of Harvey Mudd College with a B.S. in physics and mathematics. In 2008 she received her M.S. in physics from the University of California, San Diego, and is still in hot pursuit of her PhD there.

When Steph is not in the lab building nanostructures, you might find her enjoying the beautiful Southern California weather on a surfboard, wakeboard, or in running shoes. If you look harder you'll find her hiding out in the UCSD glass shop, working on a piece undoubtedly too ugly to sell. If it's past 2 am it's best to look in her office, where you'll see her coding desperately for a website that has a deadline in the morning.
