Manhattan LSAT Teachers - Kimberly Cabot
Growing up, Kim was “blessed” with three brothers – a fact that resulted in a childhood environment of virtually perpetual debate. Whether defending her lunchtime choice of fish sticks over sloppy joes or arguing her equal right to watch Rainbow Brite (despite being the lone affirmative vote on the matter), no opinion went unchallenged.
In high school, after finding most of her friends to be less enthusiastic about intellectual sparring than her brothers had been, Kim joined her school’s competitive Mock Trial team as a more socially appropriate outlet for her talent. She enjoyed the program so much that she even strayed from her first love, business, and seriously flirted with the idea of a JD/MBA for quite some time. It was only after scoring a 177 on the LSAT and making the waitlist at Columbia University that she realized her true heart lay with business plans, not legal briefs.
Now serving as President and Managing Director of a start-up organic body care company, Kim revives those fond childhood memories by teaching others to master the LSAT and other standardized tests. For five years, Kim has taught test prep in classes and seminars ranging in size from 1 to over 500. Her enthusiasm for the material and passion for her students have cemented her reputation as an energetic, entertaining, and effective instructor.
