The Marketing Associate will spearhead various sales, marketing, and operations initiatives, including online initiatives. The Marketing Associate will gain hands-on experience in a quickly-expanding small Company environment, and will be given substantial responsibility and room for professional growth. Responsibilities will include:
- Developing targeted marketing campaigns and executing marketing plans
- Identifying promotional and advertising partners across the country and in local target markets
- Developing Internet and social media marketing campaigns
- Managing College Marketing internship program and organizing marketing events on campus
- Advising students on Company offerings and providing general student services
- Preparing shipments of materials for classes and special events
- Receiving shipments, re-stocking inventory, and maintaining appropriate supply levels
- Administrative duties and general office tasks
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing-related field or position with similar emphasis
- Familiarity with search engine functionality, website development, and social media tools
- History of experience that highlights creativity, self-motivation, customer-facing experience, attention to detail, resourcefulness, initiative, and an active role in developing a business or product line
- Experience with event planning and coordination
- Substantial management and/or team leadership experience
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment, and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks within demanding deadlines
- Graphic design skills a plus (not required); specifically experience with Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, and InDesign
- Availability and flexibility to work Company operational hours, which may include occasional weekday evenings and weekends
$45,000 - $60,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits, with strong potential for growth
